World of Malvasia is an international wine competition dedicated to Malvasia varieties, held since 2009 and organized by Vinistra under the patronage of Istria County.

The need for such a competition arose from global trends in the production and consumption of wines made from indigenous grape varieties – those that are deeply connected to their region of origin and produced in limited quantities.

 

This year, our Istrian Malvasia was once again recognized, earning a silver medal with 87 points.
