merlot
Merlot is a wine of elegant and balanced profile, deep ruby in color, with aromas of ripe red and forest fruits accompanied by notes of dark chocolate and vanilla.
On the palate it is rounded and velvety, with pleasant, gentle tannins and a long, warm finish.
Versatile at the table, it excellently pairs with red-meat dishes, lamb, beef and roasts and also complements mushroom sauces and richer vegetarian compositions.
Thanks to its lovely depth, this wine is designed to be enjoyed while young and juicy; served at 15 to 18 °C (59 to 64 °F).
